If you’d like additional copies made for family and friends, we can create more prints as an add-on! You also have the option of purchasing the digital file after your portrait is completed to put your pet on mugs, pillows, you name it.

What if my pet (or the gift recipient's) has passed away?
These portraits are truly the greatest honour to create. Getting to know their stories and choosing your favourite photos is all part of the process of commemorating your beloved pet with artwork. I'll send you the guidelines and details on how to share your photos - you'll have one full week after purchase to find and share your favourites with me.
How do I send you photos and what are the requirements?
Please wait for an email from me on the same day of your purchase. I'll send you the guidelines and details on how to share your photos, even if your beloved pet has passed.
You'll have 1 week to find or take your favourite ones :)
Pet Portrait Photo Guidelines:
1. Choose or take a photo that's on your pet’s eye level (Get down on all fours with your pet to take the photo and please do not take the photo from above)
2. Choose or take a photo that's face forward or profile view (side) and includes ears and neck.
3. Choose a photo with natural light, shadows and lots of clarity. Make sure the light source (like a window) is in front of your pet and not behind them
4. Please make sure your image is high quality (smartphone images are great! I just won't be able to work from screenshots or pixelated images. Can you zoom in and see the finer details? Can you see their eye colour, nose and ears clearly?)

By purchasing this listing, you agree that:
All portraits are lovingly hand-drawn by Brittany in her studio and ship securely with tracking across Canada and The United States.
Due to the nature of custom work, all custom commissions are non-refundable. Every effort will be made to ensure your happiness.
Your portrait will be drawn based off of ONE pose and the colours in ONE single image. The better the reference photo provided, the better the painting!
Under all circumstances, the copyright of the finished artwork is retained by and remains with the artist. The finished artwork may be used by the client for display and personal enjoyment only.
No prints or copies shall be made, or profit gained in any way, from the finished artwork by the client.
A digital version of your portrait may be purchased after the original is completed (see "Digital Pet Portrait" in the Shop)
The artist retains the right to use the artwork for advertising artistic services, as art prints, and elsewhere in perpetuity.
